2012 Youth Entrepreneurship Academy

The Youth Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA) is a unique 1-week summer camp program at Concordia University for at-risk and other high school students who aspire to start their own businesses. The curriculum includes hands-on practical experiences in developing a new business venture using the best business practices and timeless wisdom from scripture. Mentoring is provided by successful entrepreneurs, Christian business practitioners, and faculty. Camp is limited to 50 students will spend the week living on campus including field trips to local businesses. Students will write and present their own business plan and compete for $1,000 seed funding. The camp will be held July 15-20, 2012. Camp cost $495 and scholarship funding is needed for low-income students. High school teachers have already selected and recommended 15 high potential students from three high schools in Santa Ana who need financial assistance. Please bless a teenager this summer with the life-changing experience.
